1/ Be Grateful 
       Being happy and knowing you have a meaning in life for different things is a great feeling. Having to be grateful for everyone and everything is important because each individual is special in their own way. 
2/ Be Smart
Being smart about it is also very important because you could be around people who are actually unfriendly and you honestly cant be around people with negative energy, it affects you in many ways mentally and physically. I've met many people who are so kind and generous and they actually take other peoples feelings and thoughts to consideration. That can prove to anybody that those are the people who actually care about how others feel and not only say they do so others can have a certain image towards them. I believe that having a happy and positive mind set can help you cop with stress or any bad feelings that you currently have because some people say if you think you're happy it probably is true. you can always have negative mind set because it affects you and other people around you to. although you might not always be grateful for the things that you have, and the end you realize what you actually have and end up being really grateful and realize that others have it way worst than you. 
3/ Be Involved
Being involved in different activities can help you mentally and physically. It can also help you grow and mature as a person. Growing up can be a difficult thing due to all the stress people are putting on you or even you putting stress on yourself, breaking out of your shell is a big way of growing up because you have to learn to not be shy about certain things and just learn to start small conversations with new people. Getting involved can mean different things because you could get involved in a good situation or a and one. Getting into a bad one could be difficult to get out of but then again you could just learn from your mistakes and learn how to deal with it yourself as a grown up person. You can always bring a family member such as your mom to help you out on bad or tough situations because you as a grown up sometimes have to deal with it yourself. Having to deal the consequences with your family can also be such tough situation because you don't want to show them that you are not a responsible grown up because then they'll think you cant handle certain things on your own. Getting involved in school work is such a responsible things to do and it could help your academic school for future preference  such as going to college or volunteer work, it can look very good for your college applications or even job interviews and resumes.
4/ Be Clean
 To be clean is to be straight up about everything and admit the things you've done. Being clean can help you be organize and it can be helpful towards different things that you're going through. Being clean can have different meanings for example one is coming clean about all the bad things you've done or even saying something and admitting you've done something along time ago. also keeping your criminal record clean is very important because when you grow older and try getting a job you don't want your criminal record to look bad. Also being spiritually clean is important for many,many reasons.
5/ Be True
 To be true means to be true to who you are and on how you might feel. If you feel bad about something then you have to be true to yourself and stand up for it and confront whatever is bothering you. Even if you feel positive about a certain way then you obviously have to be true about it and enjoy that moment that your living in. living in the moment is very important because you only have one life and you cant just live it with regrets. Once again being true to yourself can mean having a happy life because overall that is what its all about, even though everybody has their personal problems i'm guaranteed there is a solution for it no matter how big or how small the problem is. 
6/Be Positive
Being positive can help you mentally, physically, and even spiritually. One most occasions you have to be positive you need t be positive in many ways even food can help you become a positive person. Eating fruits and vegetables can help expand you mind too new things, and being open minded can also mean you are positive, because you're not criticizing others just by their appearances and their outer shell. Bringing positive vibes to others can help them as well to be and think positive, and maybe they can help others be positive with their mindset.


7/ Be Humble 
Being humble is such an important part in life especially being humble towards your family. There is different situations for different families because some people may get rich or wealthy with money and that will make some of them be not humble because they might think they're way better than others only because they have more that others don't have. Staying humble is such a good character trait because it shows whats type of person you really are and what type of person you're parents have made you become.
                
8/ Be Still 
To be still is to enhance your ticks, controlling them is such a big leap that you need to take because it could be so hard to control them. Especially if your ticks are much of a stronger feeling that-it feels like you just cant control them. I know of some people that have strong ticks and I have talked to them before and they say that at times it just feels like they cant control them when in other times they're just small feelings or certain urges they get to do a certain movement with their hand or eyes or even sounds. I don't think having ticks is a discorder personally feel like everyone has ticks themselves and its just normal for everyone to have some.


9/ Be Prayerful
 Rather not discuss my religion.


Final Reflection
overall, writing all these 9 ways on how to be happy has made me realize all that I have taken for granted and how I should appreciate everything that I have and have actually gotten thrown my way. Even the negative things in life could help me improve on many situations that I will soon have to deal with sooner or later. Probable even for college it could be something that it helps me deal with situations that I'm soon going to have to deal with and looking back and my 9 ways could help. I personally feel like a lot of people should write down their thoughts or even type them because it helps them cop with things in their present time. Perhaps many people will see it as a stress reliever writing down or typing their thoughts. Us as a class doing the 9 ways how to be happy was a good idea because it helped me out and I know it has helped some of my friends out too.
