Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur, business magnate, inventor, and industrial designer. He was the chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), and a co-founder of Apple Inc. His unwed biological parents, Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, put him up for adoption. Then later adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, a lower-middle-class couple, who moved to the suburban city of Mountain View a couple of years later.
He was raised in San Francisco, California. He lived in the Silicon Valley in the early 1950's after the sprouting of a myriad of semi-conductor companies. He attended Reed College in 1972 before dropping out. He then traveled throughout India in 1974. His FBI records show that he did LSD and marijuana during his time in college.
His death was due to a tumor and he died in his home located in Palo Alto, California. He had lost consciousness the day before and died with his wife, children, and sisters at his side. A small private funeral was held on October 7, 2011, the details of which were not revealed out of respect for Jobs's family.
